I am so excited about sharing this image that I am literally shrieking as I post this!!! The reason for my extreme excitement is because this image features my bestest best bestie!!!

Out of all the people I have photographed, I have photographed Yunus the most. We have been friends for over 15 years and I have many awesome photographs of him from our countless adventures while out rock climbing, hiking in the mountains, camping trips, hanging out around the braai (pronounced “bry”, rhyming with the word “cry”, which is the much loved South African word for “barbecue/BBQ”), or just having a picnic/drinking tea while out in the hills. But this is the first time he has been featured in my fine art portfolio!

I will share many more photographs and stories about Yunus and our adventures together at another time as I am just too excited to finally share this image with you now! However, I do want to share how insanely proud I am of this amazing soul! Besides being my bestie, he is like a younger brother and total hero to me. We created another image together inspired by some new upcoming adventures, so you will be seeing Yunus in my portfolio again soon. Yay!

Another reason I am so excited about sharing this image is because I created it as a set to match one of my favourite images at the moment, i.e. The Science Experiment. Both these images are colourful, quirky and slightly wacky, which seem to be just perfect for these crazy times...
